It’s looking like Ronaldo will be playing up top alone tomorrow which is fine by me considering his performance against Arsenal in the semi’s in that position. Hopefully he will be able to exploit the suspension ridden Barcelona defense.

I’m expecting a hard fought game with United nipping it at the end 2-1 with goals by Ronaldo and Vidic while Eto’o will score for Barcelona.

I’d love to hear what the Ronaldo fan boys and Messi fan boys have to say about this one! Discuss!

First of all, Congrats to the entire Manchester United organization! There was a time a while back when people questioned whether Fergie still had it and winning back to back to back EPL championships is something truly amazing and the fact they can do the double back to back too just makes it more amazing.

Cristiano closed the season on some amazing form with the two goals against Arsenal in the Champions League and then the Free kick goal at City, I would have thrown a fit too if I was subbed off when I was playing like that . I’m sure it was a heat of the moment thing and Cristiano realizes that his health and freshness was and still is a key to winning trophies.

Cristiano’s season totals ended up like this: (EPL totals)

18 Goals
6 Assists

In this upcoming offseason I’m anticipating numerous stores about Ronaldo leaving and being unhappy but I’m really convinced now he is there until Fergie retires.

Days after rumors leaked about United being in for Kaka if Ronaldo did leave for Madrid in the summer the news came out where Cristiano said his Madrid dream was “dead” now we have rumors that United are in for Ribery if Ronaldo leaves this year. The never ending cycle

In roughly 3 hours Ronaldo will suit up to face Arsenal in the 2nd leg of the champions league semi-final. I’m hoping for Ronaldo to put in a goal in the say the 1st minute to end any of Arsenals hopes before they start. I wish I could have wrote about the first leg but I was on vacation so all I can vividly recall is the shot off the crossbar and the temper tantrum outside the box (lol)

COME ON RONALDO AND COME ON UNITED

In his first start since being talking to from Sir Alex Ferguson for lacking on his defensive duties Ronaldo responded with an absolutely stunning goal from 39 yards out against FC Porto in the Estadio do Dragao. The 6th minute goal which Ronaldo has labeled the best in his career, which is rather impressive considering some of the cracking goals he scored last season was enough to seal United’s place in the Semi-Finals against Arsenal.

Today was a different Ronaldo than we have been seeing for the last few months, he was running at men, tracking back (what a concept), making tackles, and jesus that goal was breathtaking. I went from saying NOOOOO WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING to disbelief within 3 seconds, I didn’t believe it was in. I’m sure all United fans along with his manager and teammates were glad to see that performance.

GOAL:

Cristiano Ronaldo responsed to the media speculation by doing what he does best, <del datetime="00">diving</del> scoring braces. A 14th minute indirect free kick from inside the box that he wonderfully placed into the top right corner and a OH SO IMPORTANT left footed strike in the 80th minute which set up with the stage for an OH SO IMPORTANT goal by 17 year old scouse heartbreaker Frederico Macheda.

These two goals came at a very important time for United and Ronaldo both who form has been missing lately, hopefully the psychological high of this comeback will propel them to a perfect finish in all competitions.

Reports surfaced of a 75 million euro move to Real Madrid AGAIN but Mr. Manchester United came out with this statement

“I’m happy with the club, I think this is the right club for me.”

Not the exact response of wiping his ass with Real Madrid kit while kissing the badge of the United kit but it will do

International break is upon us and Ronaldo will lead the Portuguese as they take on the Zlatan led Swedes this Saturday in Portugal.

I’m writing this post to discuss the evolution that I want to see of Ronaldos game, especially free kicks. I have been bothered when watching United games in the past month or so to see every free kick going directly into the wall. Ronaldo has scored some wonderful free kick goals over the course of his career but I think the time has come for him to take a different approach, maybe consisting of using more finesse tactic and not having a go on goal from 35 yards out. Let someone else do that and use your aerial skills to put the ball in the net.

Also, if you lose the ball then get your ass up and track back.

With one brilliant cross by Wayne Rooney and a clinical header by Ronaldo Old Trafford could breathe easy knowing that United would indeed advance to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

I’ll be the first to admit that Inter were extremely unlucky over two legs but the Champions League is all about variance. Who knows if the tie would have been different if Zlatan could put a ball on target, or VDS doesn’t get a fingertip on Stankovic’s shot.

After watching Ronaldo in both legs, He deserved a goal. He created so many chances in the San Siro and had so many chances with free kicks and his header saved off the line by Cesar, it was the same story at Old Trafford today.

Cheer up Serie A fans, Ronaldo might come play there in future just to sex all your women

With multiple sources reporting that Manchester United lining up to offer Ronaldo a £200,000 a week and Real Madrid’s elections set for July 5th this could be a pretty volatile next couple of months coming up.

If the reports of the contract are indeed true, and Ronaldo does indeed sign the contract and then let’s say a year down the road he pops off at the mouth again about his admiration for Madrid then it’s game over for his relationship with the club and the fans.

I didn’t get to see the Carling Cup final vs Tottenham but after seeing the highlights of Ronaldo <del datetime="00">diving</del> getting fouled in the box by Ledley King and being booked for it (nice job Foy) and striking the post in extra time, it seemed like he had a pretty active game, playing all 120 minute and scoring in the shoot out.

Next up in about 3 hours is a trip to St. James Park to take on Newcastle, I’m not sure what Sir Alex’s plans are for today, although Rooney, Berbatov, Carrick and Park are back in the squad I have a suspicion that we won’t see Ronaldo for a full 90 today with important games vs Milan and Liverpool on the horizon.

In the words of the special one, SHUT UP MODRIC
