Real Madrid Transfer Action, Now With Sexy Cars

By: Ale | May 25th, 2008

Madrid based/biased sports daily Marca continued ‘Operación Cristiano‘ today with a few more details of the contract Cristiano Ronaldo will be offered should he leave Manchester.

9.5 million a year, plus 50% of the income from his image rights in Spain, while keeping 100% from image rights outside of the country. This would make him the highest paid footballer ever, based solely on salary.

Marca’s also going crazy over their ‘exclusive’ photos of a $100,000 Audi R8 in a parking lot with a handwritten note reading ‘Deliver to Cristiano Ronaldo’ on the dash. Considering Marca is about as credible as the Enquirer, some employee probably just scribbled on a post it note and tossed it in there and took a few pictures.

And lastly of course, there was the usual daily “I want to stay at Old Trafford / I dream of playing for Real Madrid” speeches from Ronaldo, but that should just go without saying by now…

They just love to unsettle the “enemy”… First Man Utd, now the portuguese national side (it´s a side effect but still happens). CR is super professional and is used to the drill already, but he´s still only 23…
