Ronaldo signed a 5 year contract with United at the beginning of the season. That means there's still over 4 years left. In short, United have to agree to sell him, no matter what he or Real Madrid say. Personally, I'd love to see him get sold to Barca just to penalize Real for their bushleague approach to signing players.
