Cristiano Ronaldo > Everyone

title celebration

I scored two times against Arsenal, I scored against Liverpool. I score against every team in England. I am very happy with my season. I scored 31 League goals. I don’t need to show anything to anyone. I win every award. I need to prove nothing.

So sayeth Red Jesus.

It must be getting a little hard for the haters to hate given everything he’s accomplished this season…

- 2nd consecutive Premier League title
- 2nd consecutive PFA Players’ Player of the Year
- 2nd consecutive PFA Fans’ Player of the Year
- 3rd consecutive PFA Premier League Team of the Year
- 2nd consecutive Barclay’s Player of the Year
- 2nd consecutive Football Writer’s Association Player of the Year
- Barclay’s Golden Boot
- Barclay’s Merit Award
- European Golden Boot

Throw in all the Manchester United accolades and the possibility of Champions’ League and Euro victories (can you say Ballon d’Or?) and I’d say it’s been a pretty good season.

Speaking of Wednesday, Chelsea’s Ricardo Carvalho had the following words of wisdom:

We have to try to not give him too much space. It is difficult to stop him but if you focus and work with your team-mate, it will be easy.

REALLY!?

Somewhere Avram Grant is looking more sullen then usual thanks to Carvalho giving up Chelsea’s big strategy before the game but whatever. I’m surprised no one else tried this tactic this year.

More later.
Ciao.

He’s not scored against Chelsea yet, though obviously he has a chance to fix that on Wednesday. So Rickie Carvalho must be doing somthing right, right?

This is true. We’ll have to see what happens Thursday.

He did have his shot cleared off the line though…

“We have to try to not give him too much space. It is difficult to stop him but if you focus and work with your team-mate, it will be easy.“

    REALLY!?

Well it’s a tried and well tested strategy, this year and last. He did nothing against, Milan, did nothing against, Barcelona and will likely do nothing against Chelsea too. In fact he does nothing against teams that can defend.

So, despite your obvious ignorance, you’re claiming no team in the Premier League can defend?

    hahahahahah

I kinda hope Ronaldo has a big game on Wednesday to stop this madness about bottling the big games.

Ouch I would hate to be the person that said ‘he does nothing against a team that can defend’ or ‘chelsea are lucky ronaldo disappears in Europe’

I personally didnt think it would be a game the Ronnie could dominate, but he did very well.
